Can there be true solidarity in this amalgamation of cultures when traditions are lost in translation?

What is the outcome when such a gap divides place, person and culture? 

Whatever the case this hybridity is the inextricable tissue that links the past and the present. The work acts as a perpetual passage of time containing unfixed knowledge.

Using sculpture and sound ‘The Weight of History  investigates the 2nd generation migrant experience. The purpose of this project was to materialise ideas around time, narrative and transformation.

A response to reseach regarding the relocation of culture and very much reflects my own attempt to reconnect and fill in the gap between generations.
